A completely unexpected delight, the extensive remains of an tenth century Moorish palace, which would have been hugely impressive at the time, and remains so today.
Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico de Córdoba
Relatively small but comprehensive and nicely presented museum well worth exploring.
Almodovar del Rio Castle
Perched as castles usually are on top of a hill, with great views, and a good place for some train spotting!
