What was meant to be a quiet day turned into over seven hours out in 34C heat, mostly spent on Lime scooters exploring the epic Hayarkon Park, and a couple of hours of much needed air conditioning at the fascinating ANU Museum of the Jewish People #israel #telaviv #anumuseum #hayarkonpark Luckily most of the Jaffa markets were closed yesterday morning as I got to enjoy the street art painted on their shutters #israel #jaffa #streetart #telaviv #telavivstreetart #jaffastreetart Tried a Lime scooter for the first time, a revelation! Particularly when Tel Aviv has amazing cycle infrastructure, hundreds of km of dedicated and separated lanes. Revisited Jaffa and explored the super funky Sarona Markets #israel #telaviv #jaffa #sarona #saronamarket #saronamarkettlv First day off in three weeks from constant travel, relaxed with four hours of walking (in two parts) around north Tel Aviv, rather pleasant and very buzzy #israel #telaviv #hambimasquare #crazyhouse #crazyhousetelaviv #hiltonbeach Sunset at Gordon Beach, five mins walk away from where I’m staying in Tel Aviv for a few nights post trip to recover. Think I’ve chosen a good place to do so… #gordonbeach #israel #telaviv #sunset #beach Day trip by train from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to visit the incredible Israel Museum, an exhaustingly huge place filled with treasures from Israel and around the world, including a surprisingly large Oceania section #jerusalem #israel #israelmuseum #shrineofthebook #Sacherpark
