Australia has some unusual and often colourful wildlife, I came across many travelling through Western Australia from Perth to Broome.

Emu, Monkey Mia

Osprey, Yardie Creek

Yellow Spotted Monitor Lizard, Dale Gorge

Gecko, Sandfire Roadhouse

Northern Blue Tongue Lizard, Shark Bay roadside

Pelicans, Kalbarri and Monkey Mia

Peacocks, Sandfire Roadhouse

Galah, Yardie Homestead

Rock Wallabies, Yardie Creek

Termites and termite mounds, roadside and Karijini National Park

Dolphins, Monkey Mia

Kangaroos, Yardie Homestead

Corrella, Yardie Creek

Noisy Miner, Yardie Homestead

Spinifex Pigeon, roadside

Heron, Dales Gorge

Fruit Bats, Dale Gorge

Preying Mantis, Pardoo Station

Whistling Kite, Sandfire Roadhouse

Camels, Broome

At Ningaloo Reef I also saw a manta ray, turtles, and plenty of fish but I don’t have a waterproof camera so will have to remember those.
