New Zealand is a truly beautiful place, with many views worth spending time to properly appreciate. Thankfully there are often handy benches to help one do so. Here are some of the more scenic one I’ve come across, generally it seems with water views, starting with those of the Kapiti Coast from the Paekakariki Escarpment Track.
There are some beautiful spots overlooking Lake Hawea, close to Wanaka.
There are plenty not far from home around Auckland, in Waitawa Regional Park out east, O’Neils Bay on the Te Henga Walkway out west, Lynfield Cove Beach on the Manukau Harbour, and at Te Whau out on Waiheke Island.
