A wonderful Spainish city, with three standout places to visit.

The Alcazar
I’ve been to few places which combine as well the built with the natural environment, with beautiful intricate architecture and lush tropical gardens. I’ve visited the Alcazar twice, hugely memorable both times, a fabulous place.

Museo de Bellas Artes
Had a literally jaw dropping moment walking into another room in the museum as the ceiling opened up to a room of unexpectively epic dimensions.

Seville Cathedral
One of the largest cathedrals in the world, home to the tomb of Christopher Columbus, and awful lot of arches and columns, plus obligatory OTT gold leaf decoration. Great views of the city from the tower.

It was also pretty enjoyable to just wander the streets and take in the sights.

  1. Wow, the Alcazar is amazing! Such beautifully preserved Moorish architecture indeed. We missed that because we only went to Seville Cathedral! Thank you for sharing with us.
