Walking a section of the 133.5km Norfolk Coast Path between Wells-Next-The-Sea and Morston in north Norfolk, enjoying pleasant coastal scenery between villages. Wells-Next-The-Sea is a lovely historic port town.

The Lifeboat Horse is a 3m high statue that appears to be swimming at high tide, and is fully visible at low tide.

From Wells-Next-The-Sea the Norfolk Coast Path heads directly east, in almost a straight line, over flat terrain.

The saltmarsh east of the floodbank is one of the largest and richest in wildlife in North Western Europe, though all I saw was this frog in the path.

In the distance was Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm, home to 88 wind turbines, one of a number off the northern Norfolk coast.

Just over half way were the Stiffkey Salt Marshes, part of the Blakeney Point, a National nature reserve.

There was a pillbox by the track, presumably from WW2.

The sun continued to shine, and there were pleasant views.

I finished at Morston, a very small village home to around 85 people, which is popular with boaties. There was a handy lookout tower for panoramic views.
